HP Firmware Notice:

HP released a firmware update on August 15, 2023 that impacts the following HP 963/963XL/967XL inkjet range.

How the firmware update is delivered: This is a push update and can be installed with minimal user intervention

New installations using compatible cartridges will not be recognized. Galway Cartridge recommends all customers turn automatic updates off.

Affected compatible products will not work with this firmware version and should not be installed into an updated printer, as the printer will enter a 20-minute locked-out phase. This can only be cleared by powering down,removing the failing cartridge, and waiting for 20 minutes before powering up and installing an updated version cartridge.
